National Percussion Ensemble Festival

I'm off to Indy again first thing in the morning. I'm one of the judges for this year's National Percussion Ensemble Festival, sponsored by Music for All (this used to be Bands of America, now Bands of America is a subsidiary of sorts of Music for All).

The other judges are Bill Cahn, of Nexus fame, Don Liuzzi, the timpanist of the Philadelphia Orchestra, and John Wooten, professor of percussion at the University of Southern Mississippi. We'll hear 8 ensembles from across the country and have a chance to clinic them, too.
